The Floating Piers

Have you ever wished you could walk on water like Jesus?

The international artist Christo has given you the possibility to do exactly that on Lago d’Iseo between June 18th and July 3rd.

It is a magical and overwhelming experience; the movement of the water transmits all its energy to your body through the particular material used to cover these floating piers, therefore you should do this walk without shoes.

The installation starts from the mainland at Sulzano, following the same material of the piers, walk through Monte Isola and end up in Isola di San Paolo; the entire walk is 3 kilometers or 2 miles.

All is orange on Lago d'Iseo these days laugh

Rocchetta Mattei Castle

It is one of the most beautiful castle in Italy, a mixed style of  Moorish and Medieval, reach of colours and magic.

The brilliant man of science Cesare Mattei, wished to build it in 1850 and was completed in 9 years; inside he wanted a particular room, the "hall of 90", to celebrate his 90th birthday but unfortunately he died 30 years before this celebration.

Subterranean Naples

La Galleria Borbonica, the Bourbon Tunnel, a dusty passage full of lost items, the carcasses of cars and motorbikes, the remains of old electrical equipment and of statues, is the tunnel located under a hill called, ironically, God’s Mountain, Monte di Dio.

It is a segment barely longer than 500 meters/1,600 feet and was dedicated in 1855 to the Bourbon King Ferdinand II.
